Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-12-15T04:23Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-12-15T04:23:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S19W18
Active Region Number: 13924
Note Keyword:
COL: Possible collision with previous CME
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
HAL: Halo CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
Note: Faint partial halo CME first seen to the SE in STEREO A COR2 beginning at 2024-12-15T04:23Z, as well as faintly in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 in later frames. This CME overlaps with previous CME: 2024-12-15T01:25Z, making the front difficult to track in SOHO LASCO. The source of this event appears to be an area of dimming centered near AR 3924 (S19W18) as seen GOES SUVI 195.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
